i am a teen and i came today and i loved it. it is a big library and the times for self service and very long. its not too busy but it is full which i loved. the staff are nice but didnt really speak to them that much. there are alot of teens and old people there too. i just go there to study so i dont know anything about the books. walking distance to macds and kfc and retail shop eg boots , hm . will defo recommend

I think the staff are helpful and polite but just lazy.

A very good modern library.

Very dissapointing managament of queues and people. Staff needs further training or perhaps more information on arrival eg notice board, or online instructions etc as the dissapontment we experienced could have been a easier avoided. Today we tried to attend the toddler activity group which starts at 10:30, we arrived at 10:10 the first ones there , (we were 3 moms with their 18 months old babies) the security on the door directed us to wait at the baby area, he said nobody is here yet and someone will let you know once it starts and so we did.. Excited and looking forward for fun session after a long journey and when I say long, traveling with 18 months old baby is definately not fun! However suddenly a queue of mums developed near the entrance once we went to see whats actually happening, we have been told we had to pay there but unfortunately the group has filled up... one aggresive mum apprently well known to the staff as spoke with names to each other took the last place by fighting and saying that she has been outside in her car waiting and she deserves to be first in the queue! Well thats another story for people without manners, but in end her child could enjoy the activities while we the mannered mums had to be satisfied with a 20 mins singing session... the whole experience was very dissapointed, only if we have been told please by the security we need to wait near the desk instead at the baby section or only if the staff came to the baby section and annouced that they will be selling tickets so the mum inside the library already could go back to purchase their tickets! Ah so frustarting experience and I hope this does not happen to anyone else. I will never again attend this library as the this whole thing was so unfair and no one actually cared! I did feel let down and I believe we have been treated unfairly.

Very helpful staff - great opening times
