Great fish and chips. Large chips was very generous. Faster than main stream fast food places and fresher.
Good afternoon , morning and evening fish and chips. I get battered sausage and chips. Everyone maybe a fried chicken piece too. Recommended.
Asked to collect at a certain time as had chores to do first. I parked outside shop to go do chores before collecting my order 15minutes later. My partner stayed in car and saw through their shop front that there were several boxes of prepared take aways in pizza boxes sat on top of the counter.When i went in to collect 15mins later, they gave me one if those boxes. I asked them why the battered cod had been sat in there so longer? The guys responded quite rudely sawing "its fresh its fresh" (not what I was asking) and stuck it in their heated cabinet for 30seconds whilst I paid, as though that would make any difference and that action simply confirmed that it should of been in there to begin with rather than it becoming cold.Advice to other customers: they are not able to comprehend having a delivery ready, fresh and hot for a certain time, does not compute Instead order collections 15mins before you collect.Or better still go to a different chip shop, i have noticed customer service has deteriorated as they have become popular and abit blazey and not attentive to providing a pleasant face to face experience. It does not hurt to be friendly and answer questions in a nicer way. By the way all, the chip shop next door to Oakwood station is spot on and the staff there are lovely, plus they are open till much later than mist chip shops, 11pm ish+.
Great fish n chips... Been many times eaten in taken out. Local to us. Fab grilled Haddock. Big portions god quality.. Not under new management as previous review said. Same people that owner it even when it was over the road years back. Happy customer.
Very friendly staff and nice, quiet atmosphere. The fish here is amazing! Big, fresh chunks of cod, with the freshest, crispiest batter you've ever tried. Lovely chips too. You will have to travel many miles to find better fish!!
