GP unable to help you. Not a good start. Will make sure I never have that particular gp again.Have had gp at this surgery that have gone over and above to help and reassure - if it wasnt for those doctors I would leave this surgery.The head gp has lost his priorities.
From my experience... the doctors are friendly and thorough. I find the receptionists very helpful and attentive. You sometimes have to wait, but thats not a problem and is the same everywhere!
On hold for 29 minutes to book an appointment, i was the 3rd person in que, only to be told they are fully booked. Put on hold everytime i asked a question as the receptionist was incompetent to answer questions without having to speak to someone else. Everytime i ask to speak to someone in a higher position i seem to get an appointment straight away. Very poor service, would not recommend to anyone moving into this area.
We booked appointment at 16 weeks pregnant as per my pregnancy notes.I thought it would be with midwife.Booking was with GP but told he doesnt deal with pregnancy check ups unless specific issues so turned away. Took morning off work in vain.Reading my notes after it said 16 weeks appointment can be with midwife or gp so not sure why I was told gp didnt deal with it.It would be good if staff were trained to know what appointments are relevant for pregnancy at their practice.
This is a brilliant surgery. Friendly helpful reception. Both the practice nurse and my GP Dr Farooqi - excellent.
